Meet the clinician

M Jaro

After personally struggling with severe anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder for years, M is all too familiar with how hopeless and stuck a person looking for help can feel. In addition, M has lived experience as a person with chronic illness and disability, as well as being neurodivergent. M was lucky enough to have the therapeutic resources to overcome and thrive despite how difficult life can be with these conditions, and wants to support and guide you through yours.

With almost a decade of clinical experience, M has worked extensively with Anxiety Disorders, OCD, ADHD, Autism, BFRBs (skin-picking and hair pulling), Perfectionism, Grief, Mood disorders, Personality disorders, and a wide variety of traumas. M sources from an eclectic collection of therapeutic styles to provide uniquely tailored care for patients, drawing on training and practice in CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoanalysis, and ERP.

M is also a member of the LGBTQAI2S+ community (Trans and AroAce), which means you will not have to teach your therapist Queer People 101, explain gender dysphoria, defend your identity, argue labels, or experience erasure in a space you’re supposed to feel safe in. They are also kink and poly/ENM affirming.

M uses They/Them and He/Him pronouns interchangeably.
